Yes, MonitorIT supports Windows 7.
However if you are installing the MonitorIT Server to Windows 7, you have to run Setup.exe by using the 'Runas->Administrator' even if you are logged in as an Admin. MonitorIT needs rights to the System32 folder.
If you run the IE based MonitorIT console, you should also run IE by using the 'Runas->Administrator'. The IE 'console' saves your various checkbox options in the Registry, and needs rights to it.
If you are installing the Agent, you probably need to install manually (see the Technical Note for this), and also use 'Runas->Administrator' here for the command-prompt. |
